IMPACT WEEK

Heroes band together to support victims of a global pandemic….

A team of experts faces a daunting mission: tackle homelessness….

Determined advocates fight racist systems to create an equitable future….

The latest books on the bestseller list? New movies coming to a cinema near you? Nope. These describe the stories and testimonials you’ll see during our annual Impact Week, which kicks off tomorrow, Nov. 30.

Each year we carve out a few days to go deep on United Way’s investments, partnerships and impact on our region’s toughest issues. Here are just some of the topics we’ll be highlighting through blogs, video, social media and more:

  • How the Disaster Relief Fund helped dozens of nonprofits and thousands of individuals weather the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic—and what’s happening now.
  • United Way’s new role in spearheading the Continuum of Care work in Kalamazoo to address key needs among the homeless.
  • United Way’s commitment to building an equitable future, including raising awareness and rallying advocates through the 21-Day Equity Challenge.
  • Our newest Impact Report detailing our journey over the past five years—the progress we’ve made on long-term goals and how our focus is evolving.

The most important part of Impact Week, of course, is YOU! None of our progress is possible without your trust and investment in this work. As we celebrate our impact, we also celebrate you and your partnership in making it happen.

So sit back … tune in … and discover the amazing things we’re doing TOGETHER!
