Our United Way staff discovered during 2019 that puppies – and older dogs – really do equal happiness, or at least provide a bit of comfort and therapeutic stress relief.

After a few drop-in dog visits proved popular, we instituted a dogs at work policy that allowed for one staff member in each office to bring their pet in on a “Furry Friday.”

Our furry friends have created a fun, happy environment, encouraged interactions among staff, and gotten us up for regular exercise breaks.
